Peshawar Zalmi will battle with Multan Sultans in a quest to be called as the champions of Pakistan’s premier T20 event.
Peshawar Zalmi are a very successful side in the PSL’s history and would be craving to add another title into their kitty. Peshawar’s skipper Wahab Riaz has been mighty impressive with 18 wickets at an average of 20.56 and he needs to lead from the front the way he has done so far. Mohammad Irfan has been impressive with 10 wickets at an average of 24.40. Sherfane Rutherford has made 258 runs at an average of 36.86 with the strike rate being an incredible 151.76 and will be expected to fire in the death overs. Shoaib Malik has been their highest run getter with the bat with 306 runs at an average and strike rate of 34 and 146.41 respectively. Kamran Akmal has also chipped in with 247 runs. The likes of Zazai and Wells would be expected to continue their good run.
Multan Sultans have been in tremendous form in this leg of PSL and would be desperate to get their hands on their maiden PSL title. Multan would require their skipper Mohammad Rizwan to go big in this game. He has been their top run getter with 470 runs at a strike rate of 130.19 and an average of 47. Shahnawaz Dhani has been the highest wicket taker in the tournament with 20 scalps at an average of 15.10.
