After previous two off season they have been going strong in this season currently standing at 2nd position with 8 points. The homecoming of their star Gautam Gambhir as a mentor and their move to open batting with Sunil Narine is doing wonders for them. A few addition in the form of youngster A Raghuvanshi and pacer H Rana have responded them well. The spin duo is also keeping the opposition in check. KKR have ticked almost all the boxes needed to win the tournament but they have some areas to improve.Skipper Shreyas Iyer is struggling with the bat having gotten starts but not able to convert those consistently. The highest paid player in IPL Bowler Mitchell Starc is yet to perform as per the price tag. With youngsters stepping in all departments the form of these two can really help KKR to believe and win their 3rd Title this season.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru:
Different team ,Different season but same story continues for RCB.At the half way stage they have lost 6 matches winning just 1 from 7 matches. It has been another season where Virat is once again leading the charge with bat and Dinesh Karthik providing cameos at the lower middle order. The two middle order batters C Green and Maxwell were made to sit out from the team because of their abysmal form.Middle order looks totally fragile.Their bowling is another story in itself.None of the bowlers have picked up more than 7 wickets and their star bowler for so many years Siraj was also left out of the team. With bowlers getting brutal hitting round the park and middle order not working RCB are almost out of playoffs and can be saved only by miracle.

Players to watch out:
Shreyas Iyer:
The skipper of KKR hasn’t really got going in the mega tournament so far.Scoring just 140 runs from 6 matches with 0 half centuries the onus will be on him to perform. He has got the starts but not able to convert those. KKR will be looking from their captain to deliver at this point of the tournament.
Rajat Patidar:
After a great last season Patidar hasn’t really convinced this season.Scoring meagre 109 runs from 6 matches and batting at the top of the order has created a concern for the RCB.He has good talent and still it is good time to comeback and help RCB to turn things around.
