Kolkata Knight Riders:
Well settled at the top of the points table, KKR will be looking to win this match and solidify the position at the Top 2 for the playoffs. It has been a terrific season for them, losing just 3 matches from 11 matches they played. Sunil Narine, being the MVP, has been a stalwart for them performing with both Bat and Ball this season scoring 461 runs and taking 14 wickets from 11 matches. Batting unit is doing commendable job but the bowling department needs improvement . All the 3 matches lost by KKR were while defending the total and will be deeply concerned by the Starc’s performance whom they might have expected the most to deliver.

Mumbai Indians:
Nothing seems to be going right this season for the five time champions. Fragile batting, Feeble bowling and the Captaincy saga altogether blended the team’s performance this season. To make it worse, they became the first team to be eliminated this season. Openers looked pretty solid in the first half of the tournament but couldn’t deliver in the second half. Along with the gameplay, there were many tactical errors and decision which didn’t favour the team. With two games to go, Mumbai has nothing to lose and would be looking to play for pride and win those remaining two game and end the tournament on high and would like to give chances to other boys.

KKR will be again looking upto him to continue the onus and keep giving them good starts.

The Mumbai skipper might have not expected the start and the progession of the season which happened with them. Along with the decision-making Pandya would also be looking to elevate and deliver the performance for which he is known as the Champion Player.
