Overview:
It's been a week since the 16th edition of IPL started. We've seen some quality cricket being played already. This one promises to be nothing different. Lucknow Supergiants will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 10th match of the season. Both the teams are on the back of a defeat. While LSG came close and lost against CSK chasing a big total, SRH lost against RR by a big margin. So both the teams would be looking to register a crucial win.
While LSG have won and lost a game each, SRH have lost the only game they've played so far. SRH will have their near full strength squad at their disposal, as Aiden Markram is set to take over as Sunrisers Hyderabad's full time captain. Lucknow Supergiants with the home crowd behind them, can also perform well and get back to winning ways. That promises to be an exciting game of Cricket for the fans.
Preview:
Lucknow Supergiants: After comfortably beating Delhi Capitals in their first home game, Lucknow couldn't conquer Chennai. They have a good batting lineup though. They would be more than happy with the return of Quinton De Kock, who would be opening the batting most likely. Kyle Mayers, who's in a sensational hitting form, must open the batting with De Kock. If Kl Rahul can bat at 3 or 4, it would not just be a selfless part from him, but also allows Lucknow to get stability in their batting.
Deepak Hooda can then bat freely at 3 or 4. Nicholas Pooran can come and strike hard at 5. Unfortunately, Marcus Stoinis has to miss out owing to his not so great form. That would also mean Krunal Pandya and Ayush Badoni have to be at their aggressive best. They also have Krishnappa Gowtham to extend their batting. Bowling is their best forte. Mark Wood, and Ravi Bishnoi have done well till now. They would like to get more from Avesh Khan. In the absence of Marcus Stoinis, either Kyle Mayers would've to bowl more or Deepak Hooda has to roll his arms.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Aiden Markram returning to the side would be good news for them. They'll not just play under their regular captain, but also get his batting services. Recently against Netherlands, he registered his maiden ODI hundred and scored a magnificent 175. To aid him would be the high class batting lineup consisting the likes of Mayank Agarwal, Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Harry Brook and Heinrich Klaasen.
Sunrisers need Washington Sundar to be at his best. He doesn't just provide the balance to the side, but also acts as their lone genuine All-rounder. With the ball, Fazalhaq Farooqi is likely to continue, although Marco Jansen is a special talent. Regardless, they would want their Indian bowling core of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik and T Natarajan to perform their roles well. It would be great if they can get some overs from Abhishek Sharma.

Pitch/Weather Report:
The match will be played in Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket stadium, Lucknow. In the first game between Lucknow Supergiants and Delhi Capitals, they had prepared a difficult pitch to bat on. There was uneven grass covering on the surface of the pitch and cracks were present in between those grass patches.
Audience would like to see a better pitch for a T20 game. There might be dew as well. If we do see a better pitch, we might see a high scoring game. If not, there might be a good competition between bat and ball where bowlers might have their say in the game. The teams winning the toss would love to bowl first and put the pressure on the opposition.
