LSG have had an up and down season so far. But at this point of the tournament, they either can be inside the top four and could be axed if they do any mistakes. They're firmly on number 5, equal points with SRH but less run rate.
The problem with LSG is their batters inconsistency. Marcus Stoinis stunned CSK with his swashbuckling hundred, but barring that knock and a 50 he merely had put impact in this season. QDK hit two fifties and found it tough to get going.
LSG need their all the guns blazing to get into the top four. Elsewise, they might slip by the minimal of margin.
MI had a season to forget. They're standing on 9th just ahead of RCB, after winning only three games out of 9. Their bowling has been a weak link, Hardik's captaincy has been a concern, his batting and bowling as well, Ishan lost his Midas touch, SKY got shackled of inconsistency disease. Amidst all the concerns, MI need to win all the remaining matches and their experienced cliche need to fire up to qualify for the playoffs.
