Overview:
Despite missing most of their first choice players, India cruised in their first ODI without any difficulty. They hardly faced challenge during the course of the game. They just need one more win to claim the series.
Sri Lanka, meanwhile, looked comfortable in the beginning but couldn’t make any considerable impact with the bat. With the ball, they were completely outplayed by the young Indian batsmen. The only positive for them was the Chamika Karunaratne’s knock towards the end of their innings. While facing a must-win situation, they will have to alter their plans to get themselves on the winning ways.

Team News:
With a great display in the first ODI, India hardly have any reasons to worry. Further, they would like to give their youngsters more exposure and avoid constant changes. They are likely to field an unchanged side.
