India claim a consolation victory over England in the third ODI.
Mithali Raj proved it yet again that 'Form is temporary, Class is permanent'. Her perfect anchor's inning helped India avoid a series whitewash against the hosts. The captain of the team was surely at her best in the final ODI.
India won the toss at Worcester for the first time in the series and opted to bowl first. The rain affected the game and it got reduced to 47 overs per side. England were going pretty well with 110/2 at one stage but couldn't capitalize on it.
DEEPTI TURNS THE GAME
Harmanpreet Kaur gave the much required breakthrough of Heather Knight, who was well settled at 46. From there, Deepti Sharma turned the game completely. She dismissed the likes of Sciver, Jones and Dunkley.

MITHALI TO THE RESCUE
Chasing 221 in 47 overs, India were down to 164/5 in the 40th over. They still needed 57 runs in 46 balls. That's when Mithali showed her class. She rotated the strike well and stitched a good partnership with Sneh Rana.
The duo added 50-runs for the sixth wicket in just 40 balls. Though Rana got out against the run of play, the captain saw off the chase. The calmness of the captain was on display as she took her team home.
