They solely depend on Shakib and their middle order looks fragile. After Mushfiqur's stunning performance in the last match, Bangladesh must be a little happy and confident about their middle order as compared to the past. Their victory against the Aussies and Kiwis a few months ago in home conditions were not very effective and efficient for the World Cup preparation considering the tracks in which it were played.

Shakib Al Hasan: The greatest all-rounder in the world in this format is the backbone of Bangladesh side. He contributes with both bat and ball every time. For Bangladesh, Shakib has won the last 4 Man of the Match award. His performance in Round 1 and the opening Super 12 game was exceptional.

- Saifuddin has been ruled out of the World Cup and the decision of Tamim Iqbal to take out his name is making an impact on top order. Rubel Hossain has been announced as Saifuddin's replacement.
