If you seek a preview of how fierce the Ashes is going to be, look no further than Saturday. Ashes rivalry will be on display when England face Australia at Dubai.
We are surely in for a humdinger of a contest when these 2 teams lock horns with each other. It is just not about 2 points. It has bragging rights written all over it. Both the sets of fans are very vocal and won't leave any stones unturned to get under each other's skin. This rivalry goes back to the days when there were no helmets, no protection, uncovered pitches and bodyline bowling. Careers are at stake usually when these 2 teams meet. We've seen many of them retiring due to embarrassment, some of them have even gone into depression. Such is the fierce rivalry between these nations.
England
England in their opening game literally humiliated the defending champions by bowling them out for a paltry score of 55. They seemed to have all the bases covered even without Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes. Buttler and Roy at the top make sure middle order doesn't have to do much. Once you get rid of them you have to face World's No.1 batsmen in Malan followed by Bairstow, Ali, Morgan, Livingstone. They just keep coming. Bowling is top class as well. They will fancy winning this at Dubai considering how flat the wicket is at Dubai compared to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
Australia.
First Things First!!!! David Warner is back... All the cricket fans wanted to watch David Warner get back his form after what transpired in SRH's dressing room and the way he was treated. Australians have won both their games and though they were not as convincing as England but they have managed to scrape through. Starc and Hazlewood look lethal with the ball. The only worry for them is Maxwell's form with the bat. Once he starts scoring there will be no stopping Australia.
Players to watch out for
Glenn Maxwell
We all know how dangerous he can be in the shortest format of the game. He hasn't set the world on fire in this tournament till now but don't let his performances fool you. Arch nemesis, a big game and Maxwell might just turn up and go bonkers. Cricket fans are in for a treat on Saturday. They might just witness a Maxwell Special.
Jos Buttler
There is no batsmen as dangerousas him at the top of the innings. He can swing the momentum of the game in his side's favor within a matter of minutes. He loves playing against Australia and has scored a hell lot against them in ODIs of the past. This might be a great opportunity for him to hit the ground running when he faces their arch rivals.
