What?
YOU HEARD IT RIGHT!
It's, DC VS MI
The most successful team of IPL (Mumbai Indians) will clash against the most consistent team of IPL since the last three years (Delhi Capitals) in the second encounter of Tata IPL as the two fan favourite franchises with the mix of some new and old faces take on each other.
MI
They will welcome some new faces like Tim David, Tymal Mills, Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith and will try to settle them in the vacant positions of their former players. Champions are not built in a day but when you become one, words such as hostility become obsolete for you. Mumbai being a champion side should not find it difficult to fit these guys in their roles.
Despite some new faces, Mumbai still has its old stalwarts like Rohit, Pollard, Bumrah and Suryakumar who will be expected to hold the team together in the course of the season. Suryakumar Yadav will miss this game though as he is recovering from his injury at the NCA.
MI- Who knows Aamchi Mumbai better than Mumbai Indians. Flat decks, big hitters and a dull last season????????????
Redemption time for MI- DUNIYA HILA DENGE HUM
Weakness- Slow starters
Ishan Kishan (wk), 2 Rohit Sharma (capt), 3 Tilak Varma, 4 Anmolpreet Singh 5 Kieron Pollard 6 Tim David 7 Sanjay Yadav 8 Daniel Sams 9 Murugan Ashwin, 10 Jasprit Bumrah, 11 Tymal Mills
DC
The team which lost the most in the grand auction including the likes of Iyer, Dhawan and Stoinis but hasn't lost the zeal for their inaugural IPL cup. Delhi will be led by Rishabh Pant and his new mates are some of the biggest names in T20 cricket going around in Mitchell Marsh, Powell, Lord Shardul and many more.
Delhi had a fairytale auction but it's time for them to give their opponents a nightmare.
DC- DELHI KHELE DIL SAI
Weakness- Only 2 overseas players available for the 1st game
Delhi Capitals: 1 Prithvi Shaw, 2 Tim Seifert, 3 KS Bharat/Mandeep Singh, 4 Rishabh Pant (cap, wk), 5 Rovman Powell, 6 Lalit Yadav, 7 Axar Patel, 8 Shardul Thakur, 9 Kuldeep Yadav, 10 Khaleel Ahmed, 11 Chetan Sakariya
What to expect- Exuberance of Youth (Pant) vs Champions' Consistency (Rohit)
