One of the most consistent teams in IPL is struggling for a win. Last years' Orange cap holder Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 2 runs total in 3 Matches and this is where CSK is falling apart. The talk of the town and the millionaire Deepak Chahar is still recovering from his injury and the team have lost 3 matches without him and new skipper Ravindra Jadeja is under immense pressure. He is making the wait for everyone and is expected to join soon.
"We need to give him (Gaikwad) confidence as we all know he's a very good player. I'm sure he will come good," Jadeja had said after their last match.
Sunrisers Hyderabad:
From constantly qualifying for playoffs to being helpless for a win, the story of SRH in this season is the same as CSK. Not retaining Rashid or Warner being the biggest blunder for SRH is proving right. The team failed in all departments and is the weakest team in this tournament on paper and field.
Captain Kane is still uncomfortable with his elbow injury and that reflects in his performance. The overseas players apart from Kane were not looking in touch and the Indian core is not up to the mark. The retained player Samad and Umran are yet to perform as per their status. Nothing is going well for SRH but today might be the day.
