Overview:
It's time for yet another Blue vs Green. Interestingly, the other match on the same day too is a battle between Blue and Green – Sri Lanka vs Pakistan. While both the matches played on Saturday were won by Green Teams over the Blue ones, England wouldn’t be an easy side to beat for Bangladesh.
England did not have an ideal start they would have hoped for, but they yet remain one of the most dangerous side and a loss might have made them more dangerous. Despite losing to New Zealand in the first match of the tournament, they did have a lot of positives like Root’s rescue act and the 10th wicket partnership. Though they would be hoping for the bowlers to pick a few wickets this time. Trott’s warning about the average outfield at Dharamsala could cause concerns apart from Ben Stokes unavailability.
Bangladesh, who are coming fresh from an easy win over Afghanistan, a shift from playing the Bottom team of the last World Cup to facing the Champions of the Last Edition won’t be easy. One good thing for them, though, is that they will be playing on the same ground as they played their first match, so they might be benefitted from it.

Pitch and Weather Report:
The pitch is mostly likely to be a balanced surface providing support to both the batsmen and the bowlers with average first innings total being 250. Spinners will be benefitted the most.
Bowling first would be the preferred choice for the toss winning team as scoring is difficult and they would aim at bowling the opposition out on a low total and shape their innings according to the target.
