The battle of the wooden spoons start on a Monday Blues day which already is a gloomy day for most of the people, but have to watch. Both the teams would be waiting for a redemption to show their prowess as to who they are in this edition.
Overview:
Sunrisers Hyderabad: The Biriyani city fans would be eagerly waiting to see their team comeback strong after a disastrous defeat against Chennai Super Kings last match. Mayank Agarwal has been having a gloomy season and may be given one last chance to prove his worth or he would need to get out of the door graciously. If the franchise is so focussed on giving the way out for Agarwal, then Abdul Samad or Anmolpreet can come in. A franchise known for its fiery bowling line-up this edition is fizzing out and needs to pull up the socks big time. Washington Sundar, T Natarajan have not performed to their levels and would need to ensure they perform to get a chance in the upcoming matches. Mayank Markande is the only positive for the team and his form will be the trump card for the team. One should expect a Buttler-like innings when RR played against SRH from Harry Brook and the batters. Watch out for Aiden Markram, he can become a beast anyday and can take away the game from any situation.
Delhi Capitals: “Roar Macha”, well the roar has been subsided and the tigers in the logo have been advised to take rest as they have been trying to roar but have had issues in their throat. A team which was below par until 2018, has been giving a tough fight and been in the radar, but now has fizzed out very badly that the miss of regular captain Rishabh Pant is being felt big time. Stand-in captain David Warner has been the only positive but has been playing an innings that even people who suffer from sleep issues, can sleep in peace. Axar Patel is the biggest positive for the team and has been trying to take this team out of disastrous situations. Philip Salt failed last time but can be trusted as he can dish out match winning innings any time. Manish Pandey, one of the under rated batters of the tournament, would need to step up and has had experience playing in Hyderabad as he is an ex-SRH player. Mustafizur may be dropped and Lungi Ngidi may get a chance. Kuldeep Yadav has been a positive in the spin department and would love to prowess his performance even more.
