MUMBAI INDIANS:
The Mumbai Indians generally start the IPL slowly by losing the initial games and will suddenly push the turbo button and win games in the mid-season and by the end of the tournament, they will be in contention for the top two spots. But this year though, they have failed or rather don’t have that turbo button to win games. They lost the first 3, won 3 out of the next 4 and just when things are coming together, they have lost the next 3 too. On paper, this MI batting line up is arguably one of the most dangerous one. But they have far too many collapses this season. They have lost games from winning position and there are few games in which they had no chance at the halfway mark and yet they fought and lost it too. All their batters have been either a hit or miss in this tournament except Tilak Varma. In the bowling department it is the same case where Jasprit Bumrah does not have an able partner. Hardik Pandya is still waiting for that one perfect game where everything clicks for him, but they still have 5 games to go. With Delhi & Punjab started winning, MI’s playoff hopes are all but over practically.
KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS:
The Knight Riders are having a season to remember as they are just a couple of wins away from sealing a playoff spot. Their batters are dominating and the spinners are also coming back into form. Rinku singh has not faced enough balls to say that he is out of form, but definitely that is one of the reasons why he has not been selected in the initial T20WC Squad. Mitchell Starc has been a definite disappointment. With Harshit Rana being suspended for this game, they need Starc to stepup. This might be the perfect game for him to come back into form considering its being played at Wankhede.
MI vs KKR Head-to-Head:
MI have an unreal dominance against KKR in the IPL as they have won 23 and lost just 9 out of the 32 games. But in the last 4 games, KKR have won 3 of them.

WEATHER & PITCH REPORT:
In the last game played here against CSK, MI failed to chase a 200+ total after looking like favorites for the most part of the game. But that might be a one-off game. Teams chasing has won a greater number of games here historically. There are no chances of rain.
DREAM 11 TEAM:
