Pakistan takes on New Zealand in the 7th match of Super 12 at Sharjah...This is going to be the first match of New Zealand in this edition of the World T20. Pakistan will play this game on the back of a triumph over their arch rivals India.
OVERVIEW:
New Zealand : They recently won the World Test Championship and played the final of last two ODI World Cups. but a T20 World Cup is something they haven't had much success in the 6 editions played so far where they have made it into the semifinal only on two occasions.
They recently lost the T20 series against Bangladesh and have lost both their warm-up games which were against Australia and England.
Pakistan : Pakistan could not have got a better start to their campaign. They not only registered their first win over their arch rivals India in World Cup history but won the game convincingly by 10 wickets.Their bowlers were superb with Shaheen Afridi, in particular was witnessed breathing fire. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan duo continued their sublime form in T20Is. A concern for Pakistan would be their middle order which could be exposed if the top order fails.
