Peshawar Zalmi due to their performance in the 2nd leg of PSL has been caught up in a mid-table rift and needs a win to get somewhat out of it while Quetta Gladiators are in desperate need of a win to stay alive in this tournament.
Quetta's skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has been in tremendous form in this edition of the PSL. He has scored 185 runs at an average of 37 with a strike rate of 146.83 in this edition of the tournament thus far and is expected to play a very crucial role yet again. Young Mohammad Hasnain and Zahid Mahmood have been the highest wicket-taker for the side as he has 6 wickets to his name at an average of 26.17 and 21.33. They need to come together as a side and bring their A-game to the table if they wish to take their campaign further than the league stage.
The skipper Wahab needs to work on his economy rate of 9.15 despite having picked 9 wickets in PSL 2021. Shoaib Malik has been their highest run-getter with 174 runs in 6 games at a strike rate of 134.88 with an average of 43.50 owing to his brilliant performance in the previous game.
