The two openers powered Bangladesh to a wicket-less phase playing some smart and risk-free cricket.

Baring two run outs, Bangladesh chased down the target without much hiccups as Naim remained not out on 59 of 48 balls.
Zimbabwe managed a pretty ordinary show in their bowling as none of their bowler could get hold of a wicket.
Result: Bangladesh Win by 8 wickets.
Man of the Match: Soumya Sarkar
2-0-18-1 with the ball, 1 brilliant running catch and a half century of 45 balls with the bat.
Moments of Brilliance:
A spectacular tumbling catch on the boundary line by Bangladesh’s sub fielder Shamim Hossain! He sprinted to his left stretching his arms out and caught a brilliant diving catch, holding his momentum just centimetres inside the boundary line. (Over 17.5 of 1st innings)
Regis Chakabva makes his name in this space more often than not. This time for showing some smart deflection work of run out catching short a surprising Soumya Sarkar. He collected a wide throw from the deep in his right hand and deflected the ball from behind in a Dhoni-like manner. (Over 13.1 of 2nd innings)
