A season to ponder for the Titans after having great previous 2 seasons.GT having won 4 matches out of 8 currently stands at 6th in the points table. Their young captain is showing a glimpse of leadership skill but they need to fill some gaps to make the playoffs this season. Just like the past season, their bowling has again shown up to the mark performances. Veteran Mohit Sharma along with young spin wizard R Kishore and Rashid Khan are delivering good bowling performances for them. They need to improve as batting unit. Saha and on-off middle order contribution are the areas they need to address as a team. A bit off season for them barring the match against GT. Their bowling has also not been upto the mark, leaking scores above 200 thrice so far. In their previous match, SRH thrashed them for 266 runs. In batting, they have been scoring runs but they are lacking consistency and team contribution. None of their batsman are in highest scoring list. Addition of Jake McGurk and young Porel have increased their batting firepower. This season is also known as comeback for Pant as it has been going great for him and DC. Their bowling department is struggling a bit with Kuldeep being their pick of the bowlers taking 10 wickets from 5 matches. DC has got some great individual performances but need to step up collectively if looking to make their way into playoffs.

DC will be looking forward to him continuing his hitting power and utilize the powerplay for them.
Azmatullah Omarzai:
The Afghani allrounder is yet to deliver his best in the season. He has already proven himself for the Afghanistan team how valuable he can be with both bat and ball for his team. He will be looking forward to prove himself in the IPL. Still half of the tournament is remaining and it is the best time for him to redeem himself and do wonder for Gujarat Titans.
