A win will make sure the qualification of the Gujarat Titans or the Sunrisers will give them a good send-off in their backyard. The Race to playoffs is still on where GT is way ahead of everyone and SRH is on the verge of elimination.
Gujarat Titans: The most complete team of the tournament got the reality check from Mumbai Indians in their last game. Despite the result of the last match, the display of Batting by RASHID KHAN was at another level. He narrowed the margin of defeat and fought till the end. One victory for GT will give them the Qualification guarantee and they will become the first team to qualify for the playoffs of this IPL 2023. The opening Duo of Saha and Gill give them a fine start with Hardik and Shankar contributing with their 30s-40s. GT always dominate with their spin duo and the finishers but if somehow they fail to deliver, then any team can dethrone them. The exclusion of Sai Sudarshan could hurt them and they need someone like him who can stop the collapse and make a partnership. The bowling of GT has always looked threatening with Shami at the start and Rashid and Noor in the middle making their bowling lineup complete. With the pace of Alzarri and the accuracy of Mohit it is adding an additional Perk for GT. If Everything gets failed, then Tewatia the finisher will make sure the game is still alive.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: SRH is still not able to find their best XI. The Strongest team of this IPL on Paper but Unfortunately they failed to perform as per their reputation which has shown up so far. Despite having big names in formats and promising youngsters, SRH has failed to impress now for the 3rd consecutive season. The decision of leaving Warner and Rashid is hunting them and that wound won't be healed easily. Their decision to change their batting order constantly to accommodate Harry Brook has backfired. But thankfully they might have sorted out that problem by dropping him and getting Phillips, who is a complete player and can finish the game and can bowl some overs. Their bowling has also been disappointing as Bhuvi & Nattu have been on and off and Umran Malik has had a season to forget so far. Markande is the only bowler who has shown promise so far as Klassen for them in the batting department. A win will keep them alive, but a loss would end their tournament officially after DC.
