Royal Challengers Bangalore : After failing to qualify for the playoffs between 2017-2019 , they have now qualified for the playoffs in two consecutive seasons. They have won 8 out of 13 games this season and stands at 3rd position.Though they would have liked to have a top 2 finish , but it is practically almost imposible now.The performance of RCB in the last 2 years have silenced their critics but they will not be willing to satisfy themselves with any thing less than the Winners Trophy. Virat Kohli has already announced that this is his last season as captain and he would love to end on a high.

Delhi Capitals : With 10 wins in 13 games this season, DC have not only qualified for the playoffs but have assured a top position finish in the points table as well. They are without doubt the most improved team in the last 3 years. After failing to reach the playoffs for 6 consecutive seasons between 2013-2018, they finished 3rd and 2nd in the last 2 seasons respectively. Now, they would want to step ahead this season and emerge as the champions.
FORM
ROYAL CAHLLENGERS BANGALORE :
Unlike most of the seasons, RCB has put forward a team performance this year. The batting charge has been led by Glenn Maxwell, who was known to blow hot and cold. In this season so far he has amassed 447 runs at an average of 40.63 with an excellent strike rate of 146.55. Virat Kohli (363 runs at 30) and Devdutt Paddikal (390 at 35.45) have formed a solid opening pair but strike rate is a concern for both of them. Though AB de Villiers has scored 276 runs this season at an average of 34.5 and strike rate of 156.81, he has looked a bit off colour in the UAE leg of the tournament.

Historically bowling had been a worry for RCB , but this season the things have been different for them. Purple Cap holder Harshal Patel is having a dream season. He has so far taken 29 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 14 and a strike rate of just 10. Yuzvendra Chahal too, is having a good season with 15 wickets at an average of 21.6 and with an economy rate of 7.2. Rookie left arm spinner Shahbaz Ahmed has also picked up 7 wickets at an average of just 13.14 and a miserly economy rate of 6.5.
