The two sides are set to face each other in the ODI series after a dramatic one-off test.
After an enthralling test match earlier this month, the caravan now moves to ODIs. The series promises to be competitive as the two teams look well settled. What is to be seen though, is who would emerge victorious after the completion.
RECENT RESULTS
India were thrashed 4-1 earlier this year in March by the touring South African women. They certainly don't have a good current form. England on the other hand are high on confidence with their away series win in New Zealand in February.
HEAD TO HEAD RECORD
The two teams have faced each other for 71 times in ODIs. England have won 37 of those while India have managed to win on 30 occasions. Two of them had no result while the other two were abandoned. England have the edge in this aspect against India.
RECENT MEETING
The two sides have played two ODI series, both in India, after the 2017 world cup. India won both the series 2-1 in 2017/18 and 2018/19 respectively. It's a good record to have against one of the best sides in the world.
